Clyde
received his BS in Zoology from the
University of
Washington,
and went on to
Loma Linda University, where he
received his Master’s in Physical Therapy. Clyde’s treatment is patient
focused placing a large emphasis in giving patients the tools to help
them work towards independence. His interests lie in sports injury
extremity rehabilitation and cervical spine conditions. In October
of 2002, he received his certification as a Strength and Conditioning
Specialist (CSCS) from the
NSCA. Clyde has completed
Level I in NAIOMT.
His commitment to furthering his education
and progressing his clinical prowess has led him to attend continuing
education courses
with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of the
knee and shoulder, as well as soft
tissue technique courses. He also participated in a conference hosted by
the (BTA) Baseball Trainer’s Association, which focused in the
care and treatment of the throwing shoulder.

Clyde was born in Santiago, Chile before his family moved to Walla
Walla, Washington. He speaks fluent Spanish which can be quite helpful
with Spanish speaking patients and with expressing patients concerns and
needs to their respective physicians. He is a devoted New York Yankee
fan despite pressure from Mariners fans. Do not be surprised to find
Clyde at
Willows Run or many of the neighboring golf courses on his days
off, as he is an avid golfer.
