Nicole grew up in Red Deer, the heart of Alberta, Canada. There she participated in numerous sports including swimming, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and track and field. Nicole excelled in track and field winning the Canadian national championships in the 300 hurdles and pentathlon for her age group. She later earned a spot on the Canadian national track and field team. These accomplishments led Nicole to receive a track and field scholarship to Arkansas State University. Nicole helped her team by placing second in the 400 hurdles and third in the heptathlon at the Sunbelt Conference championships. Over years of training Nicole developed many injuries, but with physical therapy she was able to continue competing at a high level. These experiences led Nicole to enter the Physical Therapy graduate program at Arkansas State University after finishing her undergraduate degree in exercise science.
After graduating with her Masters in Physical Therapy degree in 2003, Nicole was drawn to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and moved to Kirkland, WA. There she continued post-graduate work focusing on manual therapy through the University of St. Augustine. Nicole became a certified manual therapist in 2007.
Nicole strives to enable her patients to return as quickly as possible to the activities in which they wish to participate. Her clinical approach is hands
on and includes a strong emphasis on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and educating her patients so they can continue their recovery independently after leaving her care. When Nicole is not working she enjoys playing volleyball, waterskiing, running, hiking, traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
